My Habitat has joined forces with an independent Debt Management Company in order to reduce arrears and help out all customers in these difficult times.
We understand that circumstances are changing for everyone and in these difficult times its not always easy to ask for help.
So we have decided to pioneer a new service for tenants and landlords alike an attempt to ensure that no one gets into arrears with their rent or mortgage payments.
This FREE service is available to all customers and anyone seeking independent, confidential Debt advice.
As a tenant it is important to make your rental payments to ensure that the landlord can meet their financial demands.
We realise its embarrassing to ask for help and to discuss financial matters so we have added a clause into our contracts outlining that should ANY tenant go into arrears then the independent debt management team will arrange to sit them down and help them prioritise their money to ensure they continue to meet there rental commitments and ensure they stay housed.
This is a service that no other agent has tried as they have previously pointed landlords the way of rental guarantee insurance, which could still cost the landlord money and not help the tenant meet their commitments.
We decided that any arrears problems could potentially be sorted out before the costs of insurance excesses and solicitors costs are realised, in term keeping the landlords outgoings lower and the tenant happier.
